These are giving early 2000's baseball mom in the best way possible! The length is perfectly long to cover up everything and I die for the straight fit because that means they don't ride up and they don't cut off your circulation in your thighs!
I am 5'2" wearing a size small! I am usually in between a small and medium, typically ending up in a medium in anything denim but because I only needed these to fit my waist since the legs and butt aren't fitted I was able to size down! If in between, size down for a fitted waist or size up for more room/comfort in the waist
